How did I miss this? The post is dated July 23 but it never showed up on my flist.
Anyhow, I really enjoyed this. Once again, the characterizations really stand out. Estel is so earnest and eager and fresh-faced, chomping at the bit to get out there into the world. It's good to see Elladan being a strong authority figure. He and Elrohir would have experienced some major trepidation taking Estel out for his first real campaign, you've really gotten across their concern for Estel's safety.
