As requested by Linda Hoyland and Estelcontar [Passolargo] here is a tough Aragorn quiz. It's 60 questions in total but that's quite a lot to do in one go so I've divided into two parts. One part actually isn't that tough  and there are a few easy questions in there, but part two, which I'll post next weekend, is harder.

Answers will go up Wednesday. Feel free to look them up - there are no prizes - but it's probably more fun to see how many you can answer out of your head first.

"Shadow of the Past"- Gandalf mentions a man, Aragorn, helping him hunt for Gollum.

2. What rank did Aragorn hold in Ecthelion’s army?
He was a captain.

3. By what name does Glorfindel address Aragorn when he first greets him on the road to Rivendell?
Dunadan! :D Forgive lack of accent...

4. In what year did Aragorn’s parents wed?
IIRC, it was 4 years before Aragorn was born, so 2927.

5. From whom did Aragorn learn that Frodo had left his home carrying a great burden?
Goodness goodness goodness... *wracks brain* Gandalf was already gone.. it was either Gandalf way back when in May or this is a trick question and it's Frodo because Frodo opened his big mouth :P Or I don't remember... :(

6. Name the two horses that Aragorn rides.
Hasufel and Roheryn. Brego is a movie-creation.

7. What did Elrohir give to Aragorn at the Stone of Erech?
A horn. I just reread this chapter for my crossover fic since this is the chapter I'm at XD

8. Who referred to Aragorn as ‘Stick-at-naught Strider’
Bill Ferny! ... *shudders* I sporked an awful, icky fic about this -_-

Halbarad, Legolas, Gimli, Elrond's sons, and nameless Rangers. About 30 of them.

... O.o Dang! Uh... a copy of the Red Book? The original stayed with Sam's family...

Beren and Luthien! The leaves were long, the grass was green... and that's all I know.

It was his birthday ^^ 88 years old.

Before I go to bed I must correct one of my replies. It was not in May that Aragorn took leave of the Company. It was in September. So, the correct answer is:
