Hello Raksha, thank you so much for coming here and leaving a review and I'm thrilled to know you enjoyed the story. I doubt Thorongil's first day went quite like this but it struck me as an interesting way to illustrate these different characters. When I first read LotR, over thirty years ago, I was a bit disappointed that there was no showdown between Denethor and Aragorn so I knew I wanted to include one somewhere in my tale!
And you've really made me wonder about the title now!
