The picture you paint in this fic is very vivid. Reminds me of the time I spend approx. 13 days in Egypt, half the time in the Sinai Peninsula--all desert, a couple of oasis scattered here and there...
The heat was the worst. And the dust and sand blowing, getting into everything. Of course, it wasn't as bad as what's happening to Aragorn here. But I can imagine it very well.
