Happy birthday, Professor! Without him I would never have come to where I am now - through his works (and the fandom) I discovered my love for the English language and finally got to study it. Thank you a lot. *raises mug of mead*

I wonder how many people the world over either improved their English or began studying it so they could read his books as he intended. Quite an added bonus, I should think!
