Happy birthday [info]ellynn_ithilwen ! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Knowing that you're one of those strange gals who prefers Boromir to Aragorn, I went in search of a suitable pic. I must confess it was the horse that caught my eye here rather than the rider, but I hope you enjoy!

Thank you! *hugs*

Yes, I like the picture. :) And the horse. :) And especially the rider. :)))) And, hm, the horse looks so nice and strong, I am sure he could carry us both, what do you think? *g* I'd love to be there with him. *g*

I'm so glad you liked it! I've seen a few sketches by this artist and they all feature very powerful horses. I'm quite sure he could carry you and Boromir away no trouble at all!

Is this Catherine Karina Chmiel? I've seen so many of her pictures - and other authors too, of course - and it's impossible to remember everything. But this looks like her style.

And speaking of her, I must say that her Boromir is the best non-Sean-Bean Boromir I've seen. And I could put some of my favorites on my journal, to enjoy the view... *fan-girl giggling*

Ah yes, I think you're probably right. I know she's done a painting of Ecthelion and Thorongil which is a great favourite of mine. And I would love to see your favourite non- Sean Bean pieces. All in all I've posted quite a few of mine now but they're mostly of Aragorn, not surprisingly lol!

That is a magnificant horse. - and the one in the icon is wonderful too. (I wouldn't want him to get envious.)

Somehow it looks just the sort of horse the son of the Steward would ride, I think.

Ooh, I like that rendering, both of the horse and the rider! Very nice!

That's another lovely birthday present.

The horse looks glorious, and Boromir looks very heroic too.

So do I, especially if the *heroicness* is represented by a certain Arnorian ranger who shall remain nameless. *g*
