FIC: The Fifteenth Fosterling

Sunday night I realised I hadn't written anything fictional for six months and then this idea popped into my head. With the day job over for Christmas and freezing weather curtailing my farm activities, I spent a fair chunk of Monday and part of Tuesday writing madly to finish it as a Christmas present for everyone. Then Cairistiona very kindly squeezed in the beta in spite of being busy putting the finishing touches to her own seasonal story.
