'The Hobbit' to be two movies

So the whole of 'The Hobbit' is going to span the two proposed movies. My first reaction to this news was regret that there would be no reprisal of Viggo as Aragorn [at least, in this context, I hope there won't be]. But, although that is disappointing in itself, I really don't think stretching a book that is half the size of FOTR over two movies is the greatest of ideas. Only time will tell, I guess.

Date: 2009-04-18 03:15 pm (UTC)I'll try and catch Pan's Labyrinth next time it's on TV though, and this may sound odd from a Tolkien fan, I don't really like fantasy. [Tolkien's world was real after all LOL!]
